A Dog’s Life Fostering Network is an ever-growing group of citizens who are concerned about animal welfare in the Kenora area.
On January 31, 2008, the only animal shelter from the Manitoba border to the Thunder Bay Region closed its doors. After this time, the well-being of local animals was placed almost entirely in the hands of local residents. It is up to us to volunteer, speak out, speak up, and help those who cannot speak for themselves.
A Dog’s Life is a non-profit, shelterless organization. We offer veterinary care and safe, warm foster homes for dogs waiting for a new and loving home.
